About Melissa Rhodes
Interior designer Melissa Rhodes earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota in 2005. After working for Susan Kelly Interiors for several years, Melissa opened antiquity furniture – home décor – design. Functioning as both a design studio and an eclectic furniture store, antiquity offers designer, new and second hand furniture, home décor and antiques for the budget savvy shopper who doesn’t want to compromise. Previous to her interior design career, Melissa worked as a photographer, floral designer and in an art gallery. Melissa specializes in color and space planning, such as furniture layout and kitchen design. She has an uncanny ability to collaborate with clients; with a minimum of instruction, she shares and enhances the customer vision. Her goal: to create rooms that are imbued with originality while always reflecting a client’s personal taste.
